Can I sell posters I make with Starmap Pro?
Yes — commercial use is included while your subscription (or trial) is active. Sell unlimited physical prints, canvases and stationery on Etsy, Amazon, Shopify or in person. No per-poster fees, no royalties.
How accurate are the charts?
Positions are computed with a built-in sky engine: Greenwich Hour Angle + IAU-76 precession, azimuthal-equidistant projection, HIP-based star catalogue, low-precision solar theory for the Sun, truncated lunar theory for the Moon, and approximate Keplerian elements for Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn (visual use, ±1°). The app shows live badges (lat/lon, UTC, LST, Sun/Moon altitude) so you can verify every order. These are keepsake-grade charts — not certified navigational ephemerides.
What exactly do I get for poster production?
PNG export from 500 to 5000px (HD / 2K / Print / 4K presets), SVG vector export for Illustrator, transparent-background toggle for compositing into your own templates, on-map titles baked into exports, print button, and share-links that re-open the exact chart. Filenames auto-include date, place and size for batch workflows.
How does the 7-day trial work?
Choose “Free trial — 7 days” on the contact form and send it. We email your license key, usually within 24 hours. Sign in with your email + key. Full features, no card. When it expires, request Annual if it earned its keep.
How do I pay the $99/year?
After you request Annual, we email a Payoneer payment request / invoice to your address. Open it and pay by card or bank transfer — you don't need a Payoneer account. Once paid, we email your 1-year license key. No auto-renewal, no stored card: we simply invoice you again next year if you want to continue.
Why flat $99/year instead of credits?
Credit systems charge you per premium export — every test variant, client revision and re-print burns balance, and the meter restarts when credits run out. With Starmap Pro you pay once and generate as much as you sell: proofs, variants, re-exports of old orders, all included. If you sell even a few posters a month, flat pricing wins by a mile.
Do I need to install anything? Does it work on Mac / Windows?
No installs. Starmap Pro runs in any modern browser on Mac, Windows, Chromebook — even a phone for quick previews. Your license works everywhere you can sign in.
What happens when my license expires?
Sign-in stops opening new charts, but anything you already exported is yours forever — sell those prints without worry. Renew by sending the contact form again; we re-activate the same email.
I'm a wedding stationer / photographer with repeat clients. Any workflow tips?
Yes: (1) save the share-link per client — it encodes location, time and every style setting, so re-orders take seconds; (2) export transparent PNG and drop the sky disc into your own invitation layout; (3) use SVG when you need razor-sharp lines at any size. One subscription covers your whole studio's output.
